New Roof Replacement in Pekin, IN 47165
For this project, our team completed a full residential roof replacement in the Pekin area.
Replacing a roof involves more than simply installing new shingles. Once the existing roofing materials are removed, the underlying components can be evaluated so that any necessary work can be addressed before the new roofing system is installed.
For this home, that included installing new roof decking.
New Roof Decking
As part of Mark’s roofing project, our team installed new roof decking to provide the proper foundation for the new roofing system.
Roof decking sits beneath the roofing materials and provides the structural surface to which the roofing system is installed. When decking needs replacement, addressing it during the roofing project helps ensure the new roof is being installed over a solid foundation.
Once the necessary decking work was completed, our team could move forward with the new TAMKO roofing system.
TAMKO Black Walnut Shingles
The new roof features TAMKO shingles in Black Walnut.
Black Walnut provides a rich, dark appearance that gives the finished roof a clean and distinctive look while complementing a wide variety of exterior colors and home styles.
The finished result is a completely refreshed roofing system ready for the changing weather conditions we experience throughout Southern Indiana.
New Gutters Installed
Elite KY Services Construction also installed new gutters as part of the project.
The roofing and gutter systems work together to manage rainwater and help move it away from important areas of the home. Replacing the gutters along with the roofing system also helped give the exterior a more complete, finished appearance.
With the roof, decking, and gutters addressed as part of the same project, this home received a significant exterior upgrade.
